Your Hometown Radio Station – 97.5 K-LAKE and Carpet Tech are teaming up to help the Collin County Animal Shelter during our inaugural Freemont’s Furry Friends 2023 “Holiday Help The Shelter” Adoption and Donation Event – also presented by Timber Ridge Animal Medical Center!
Below is information on the current needs/requests of the Collin County Animal Shelter. All you have to do is contact K-LAKE and let us know what you can do to help the shelter this Holiday Season. Can you get one item the shelter needs? Great! Can you adopt a shelter animal? Fantastic! Can you donate gift cards to the shelter? Wonderful! Whatever you can do to help the shelter is appreciated!

Once you’ve decided how you want to help, there are FOUR ways you can let us know:

- Call Alan Freemont, Host of the K-LAKE Afternoon Show, between 2pm-6pm Monday-Friday at 800-766-5525
- Drop off your donations at the Collin County Animal Shelter offices (located at 4750 Community Ave.
McKinney, TX 75071), during their regular business hours (11am-6pm Tuesday-Friday; 11am-5pm Saturday & Sunday; Closed Monday).
- Make an ONLINE DONATION directly to the Collin County Animal Shelter – https://apps.collincountytx.gov/Forms/AnimalDonations.
And, be sure to join 97.5 K-LAKE on Saturday, December 9th from 11am-1pm for our Freemont’s Furry Friends 2023 “Holiday Help The Shelter” Donation Drive LIVE Broadcast at the Collin County Animal Shelter! K-LAKE’s Alan Freemont will be on site with volunteers & sponsors, talking about the different animals available for adoption, the shelter’s needs & taking your donations!
In fact, on December 9th, 2023 only, the Collin County Animal Shelter is offering special $10 Dog & Cat Adoptions + Carpet Tech is giving a $100 Carpet Tech Gift Card (good for a cleaning appointment within their Collin County service area) to anyone who adopts an animal from the shelter that day, too!
Plus, Timber Ridge Animal Medical Center is offering: For any dogs or cats adopted during the December 9 event we will offer 1/2 off their first exam, complementary first dose of heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and a complementary fecal test.
