We’re 97.5 K-LAKE “The Lake Station”
Jump in – the music’s great! We’re excited to announce that as of 2pm Monday, August 29th, 2022 – when you tune in to 97.5, you’re going to find K-LAKE “The Lake Station” – Your Home for Today’s Hits & Yesterday’s Favorites!
There’s A LOT of history in that name! You remember THIS, don’t you?!
You probably grew up listening to 97.5 K-LAKE in North Texas & Southern Oklahoma. And you likely remember seeing the iconic K-LAKE Cruiser zooming by the marinas and coves on Lake Texoma during the summers.
Well, times have changed & we’re bringing “The Lake Station” into the 21st Century! Our new logo is a playful *wink & nod* to our K-LAKE legacy…but we’ve given it a more contemporary & fun look.
And, although Lake Texoma is still near & dear to our hearts – it’s just ONE of 17 lakes in the K-LAKE listening area. We want people on ALL of those lakes, and everyone who lives & works in the surrounding cities & towns, to enjoy the “The Lake Station” experience!
Our large, regional broadcast signal booms Today’s Hits & Yesterday’s Favorites across North Texas & Southern Oklahoma – including Collin, Grayson, Fannin & Cooke Counties in TX and Love, Marshall & Bryan Counties in OK. Some of the big lakes in the area are: Lake Texoma, Lake Murray, Lake Bois D’Arc, Lake Lavon, Lake Lewisville, Lake Ray Roberts, Lake Ray Hubbard & more!
The music you hear on 97.5 K-LAKE is really going to make you smile. When we say we play Today’s Hits & Yesterday’s Favorites, we’re not kidding! As you listen, you’ll hear an outstanding collection of carefully curated Adult Contemporary (AC) music:
