Earworm!!

Have you ever had a song stuck in your head . . . then woke up the next day, and it was STILL in your head?  A new study found it’s fairly common.  And it might be affecting your sleep.

Scientists at Baylor played catchy songs for people before bed, and then scanned their brains while they slept.  The songs they used were “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift . . . “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen . . . and “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey.

And they found that when you go to bed with a song in your head, your brain KEEPS getting triggered by it, even while you sleep.  So the quality of your sleep suffers.
