Zach Bigley most recently served as the radio “Voice of the Pelicans” for all Myrtle Beach Pelicans games. During the offseason, Bigley was studio host for Pitt Panthers football and basketball through Learfield/IMG College in Winston-Salem, N.C.
In 2017, Bigley served as the broadcast and media relations assistant for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. There, he worked with Mike Lindskog on the radio, providing three-to-five innings of play-by-play per game and also contributed with media relations as well as writing responsibilities. Before joining the minor league broadcasting ranks, Bigley spent two seasons as the broadcast and media relations coordinator for the Walla Walla Sweets, a collegiate wooden bat team in the Pacific Northwest.
A native of Eugene, Oregon, Bigley graduated from the University of Oregon, where he majored in journalism at the School of Journalism and Communications and minored in history. While at Oregon, Bigley was the assistant sports director at the student radio station, KWVA 88.1 FM. There, he was the main voice of Oregon volleyball, softball and Thurston High School basketball and football. He also provided play-by- play for Oregon football, basketball and acrobatics and tumbling.
Will Hodges, Color Analyst
Will is a 1975 Graduate of Gonzalez High School and a 1979 Graduate of Southwest Texas State University. Will obtained his Masters in 1997 in Education. Will was in Public Education for 29 years before retiring. Will began coaching in MISD in 1983, became an Asst Principal then moved into the role of Asst Athletic Director. Will and his wife Jan have been married for 39 years and are the proud parents of Jacob, a former 3 year Varsity Basketball player at McKinney High School who is the Varsity Asst Basketball Coach at McKinney North. When not at MISD Athletic events, Will can be found at his hunting lease in Southwest Texas or on the coast fishing.
Kevin McPherson, Statistician
Kevin McPherson is entering his 13th season as statistician for McKinney ISD football broadcasts on KLAK-FM. Along with his duties as an English teacher in the district, he is the sports information director for MISD Athletics. In addition, McPherson has worked the past 14 years as a statistician for ESPN college football and basketball, the past seven years as a spotter for SMU football, and the past five years as official scorer and scoreboard operator for the Class AA Frisco RoughRiders of the Texas League.
