Almost 50 million vinyl LPs were sold last year and this year should see an increase in that number. Surprisingly, people are using the albums more as decoration or as proof they are a big fan of the band. According to one study, half of all consumers who purchased a vinyl record admitted that they don’t even own a record player. Wow!
