Owen Simpson, Play by Play #1

Owen Simpson is a freelance play-by-play broadcaster originally from Georgetown, Texas. After graduating at ACU in 2021, he joined KTXS-TV in Abilene as a sports anchor/reporter covering high school, college and professional sports. During that time, Owen has also broadcast college sports with ESPN+, and he continues to freelance across the state. Since moving to the metroplex in August, Owen has also begun broadcasting with the University of North Texas and Frisco ISD. Jared A’Latorre, Play-by-Play #2
Jared is a 2017 graduate from Plano Senior High School. After high school, Jared graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in sports media. During his time in Stillwater, he called high school sports on the radio as a color commentator and a play-by-play announcer in North Central Oklahoma. When he’s not calling games, Jared enjoys watching sports, working out and playing video games.

Kevin McPherson, Statistician
Kevin McPherson is entering his 15th season as statistician for McKinney ISD football broadcasts on K-LAKE. Along with his duties as an English teacher in the district, he is the sports information director for MISD Athletics. In addition, McPherson has worked the past 15 years as a statistician for ESPN college football and basketball, the past eleven years as a spotter for SMU football, and the past eight years as official scorer and scoreboard operator for the Class AA Frisco RoughRiders of the Texas League.
