It’s been so hot this summer, some watermelons are turning into dangerous ticking timebombs. The heat can cause them to ferment . . . and if that happens, you’ll see a foam bubbling out, and it’s possible they could explode.
To avoid the risk of fermentation, experts say you can keep watermelons in the fridge once you bring them home.
