An annual study ranked the states from the best place for a summer road trip to the worst. Texas and New York are the best . . . and Rhode Island and Delaware are the worst.
The rankings are based on 32 factors, like the quality of the roads . . . traffic . . . driving laws . . . national parks . . . other activities and attractions . . . weather . . . shoreline and scenery . . . and, yes, gas prices.
