Here are some surprising facts about spam calls:  The amount we get isn’t getting better or worse over time . . . answering spam calls won’t make you get more of them . . . and our reluctance to answer calls from numbers we don’t recognize is making it more difficult for healthcare workers to do their job during the pandemic.
