The National Toy Hall of Fame just announced the three toys it will be inducting this year. And they are: American Girl Dolls . . . Risk . . . and sand.
There were nine other finalists that didn’t get enough votes from toy industry experts, historians, and the general public to make it into the Hall of Fame this year.
They are: Battleship . . . billiards . . . Cabbage Patch Kids . . . the Fisher-Price Corn Popper . . . Mahjong . . . Masters of the Universe toys . . . the piñata . . . The Settlers of Catan . . . and toy fire engine.
